Jenny's Light will begin an awareness and fundraising campaign with Go Home Gorgeous™, the Twin Cities' only in-hospital Postpartum Wellness service.

It is my pleasure to announce that as of January 1, 2010, Jenny's Light will begin an awareness and fundrasing campaign with Go Home Gorgeous™, the Twin Cities' only in-hospital Postpartum Wellness service.
By working together, Jenny's Light and Go Home Gorgeous™ can truly be a force of wellness and empowerment for new parents everywhere. Promoting web traffic on the Jenny’s Light website will increase awareness of this potentially deadly disorder as well as advance the fundraising efforts that allow Jenny’s Light to continue it’s good works and outreach.
Go Home Gorgeous™ is the exclusive provider of Postnatal Body Therapy™ the only in-hospital wellness service in the country designed to help rest, restore and empower a new mother following delivery. This is the first step towards the self-care and self-awareness that is so critical to the health and happiness of a new family. Unsolicited feedback from labor and delivery nurses includes comments that new mothers who go home gorgeous sleep better, buzz less and request less medication. They have also reported an increase in attentiveness from new mothers regarding their discharge instructions. They are caring for themselves better.
Beginning February 1, 2010 Go Home Gorgeous™ will be servicing the following hospitals in and around the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area:

The Go Home Gorgeous brochure will be sent out to every expecting parent in the 20 week welcome package, and the 36 week postpartum information package. These are mailed out from the hospital and will be received by an estimated 31,550 new parents twice during their pregnancy. Our brochures are also in the waiting rooms of many OBGYN clinics as well as many boutiques and retailers throughout the the Twin Cities Metro Area.
To further co-brand our postpartum wellness efforts, there will be an additional Jenny’s Light donation opportunity to Go Home Gorgeous' clients with the option to roll a $10 savings coupon directly into a $10 donation to Jenny’s Light. They will also include postpartum depression information and prevention with the Jenny’s Light logo and website on their brochure that will be seen a minimum of 63,100 times in 2010.
In exchange for this exposure and donation support, Jenny’s Light is funding the printing cost of these brochures and coupons. Estimated cost on printing 70,000 pieces is $5,200.
Even if only 2% of expecting parents chose to roll on their savings this could mean $6,300 in donations to Jenny’s Light. The additional outreach and ability to promote Jenny’s Light events and fundraising efforts will also be enhanced by this exposure.
